2 Development Platform

Both the PIC32CM JH00 and PIC32CM GV00 are available on Curiosity Nano development boards, which offer a fast and convenient way to evaluate the devices. Each board includes:

  • Onboard debugger (nEDBG)
  • USB® Type-C connectivity for power, programming, and debugging
  • User LED, User switch and capacitive touch button

These kits require no external tools and they integrate directly into MPLAB X IDE for immediate development.

2.1 Expand Functionality With Nano-Compatible Boards

To unlock additional features and accelerate development, the Curiosity Nano can be paired with the following expansion platforms:
  • Curiosity Nano Base for Click Boards™: This board acts as a bridge between the Curiosity Nano and a wide range of expansion modules. It supports mikroBUS™ Click boards and Xplained Pro extensions, making it easy to add sensors, displays, and other functionality without custom hardware.
  • Curiosity Nano Explorer Board: Designed to maximize the potential of your Curiosity Nano, this board provides a variety of built-in inputs (touch buttons, joystick, sensors) and outputs (LEDs, OLED, speaker).
