2.1.7 MPU Configuration

The MPU (Memory Protection Unit) is for the configuration of the memory regions.

Here, we are configuring a non-cacheable memory region for storing GMAC descriptors.

This configuration is applicable only for the devices with Cache Coherency issues (like SAME70/SAMV71).

  1. Start MPU Configuration from Plugins drop-down menu
  2. Verify the MPU configuration for region GMAC Descriptor. The GMAC Descriptor MPU region will be added when GMAC is added to project graph
