2.2.1 Description
The USB connection is used to interface the target MPU with a host PC running SAM-BA®. It provides a high-speed communication channel for device programming. A standard USB Type-A to Micro-B cable or a USB Type-A to Type-C cable is required, depending on the board design.
For evaluation kits, refer to the user guide for programming SAM-BA through USB.
Device Detection: The ROM code enables the USB device and switches to the SAM-BA Monitor. On the USB connection, the host enumerates the USB port and communicates through the SAM-BA host application.
Refer to the latest SAM-BA documentation for a full list of supported devices.
