2 Assembler Overview

MPLAB® XC-DSC Assembler produces relocatable machine code from symbolic assembly language for the dsPIC® DSC family of devices. The assembler is an application that provides a platform for developing assembly language code. The assembler is a port of the GNU assembler from the Free Software Foundation.
