1.7.2 TMR0H Register Does Not Increment
Configuring Timer0 in 16-bit mode with FOSC/4 and clearing the T0ASYNC bit in the T0CON1 register may result in the High-Byte register, TMR0H, failing to increment. This issue is valid only when FOSC/4 is used as the clock source.
Work around
When using Fosc/4 as the Timer0 clock, set the T0ASYNC bit in the T0CON1 register to '1'.Affected Silicon Revisions
