4 Use Case Examples
Introduction
This section will discuss various use cases for the MCC Melody 8-bit Bootloader and how to
implement them using the MPLAB X IDE. Click on the use case of interests and follow the
instructions presented there.
Note: All these
examples will be utilizing the Unified Bootloader Host Application for initiating the
bootloader.
Prerequisites
- MPLAB X IDE 6.05 or later
- MPLAB XC8 2.40 or later
- MPLAB Code Configurator (MCC) 5.1.0 or later
- MPLAB Code Configurator (MCC) Device Libraries AVR MCUs
- MPLAB Code Configurator (MCC) Device Libraries PIC10/PIC12/PIC16/PIC18 MCUs
- Microchip PIC18F-Q Series Device Support (1.14.237)
- Microchip AVR-Dx Series Device Support (2.1.152)
- MCC Melody Bootloader 8-Bit Library 3.0.0 or later
