1 What is the MCC AVR® and PIC16/18 Generic 8-Bit Bootloader Library

The 8-bit Bootloader Library enables creation of bootloaders for 8-bit MCUs. The solution offers a basic command protocol as described in the User’s Guide documentation. This library supports 8-bit PIC and AVR® devices. For the detailed list of supported devices please refer to the Supported Devices and Families section.
