5.18.3 Watch Assembly Variable Values Change

For XC-16 and XC-DSC compilers, when defining an Assembly variable and assigning an extern of it in the C files, there is no valid debug information to watch this variable explicitly in the IDE. However, if you prepend _ to the variable name (using the assembler internal name) you can add this to the Watches window to view its values.

For example, the asmVariable can be added to the Watches window as _asmVariable to view its values.
