6 Appendix A : Programming the Device using FlashPro Express

using FlashPro Express. The HDMI_RX_TX.job
file is available at the
following location.

Perform the following steps to program the PolarFire device with the .job
file:
- On the Host PC, start the FlashPro Express software from its installation directory.
- To create a new job project, select New or New Job Project from FlashPro Express Job from Project menu.
- Enter the following in the New Job
Project from FlashPro Express Job dialog box:
- Programming job file: Click
Browse and navigate to the location where the
HDMI_RX_TX.job
file is located and select the file. The default location is<$designfiles download directory>\mpf_an4768_v2025p1_df\VKPFHDMIRXTX\designer\HDMI_RX_TX\export
- FlashPro Express job project location: Select Browse and navigate to the location where you want to save the project.
- Programming job file: Click
Browse and navigate to the location where the
- Click OK. The required programming file is selected and ready to be programmed in the device. The FlashPro Express window appears.
- Verify that a programmer number appears in the Programmer box. If it does not, verify the board connections and click Refresh/Rescan Programmers.
- Click Run to program the device. When the device is programmed successfully, a Run PASSED status is displayed.
- Close FlashPro Express ( ). The PolarFire device and SPI Flash are programmed.
- Power cycle the board using the SW4 switch. After power cycling, the full HD displays the video from the Host PC.
