7 Hardware Setup

The target hardware must be properly set up before the encrypted firmware can be sent to the bootloader. In this application note, it is assumed that an ATmega328PB Xplained Mini board is used for evaluation. The details on configuration, steps to program, and debug are explained in the following sections.
