31.2 Overview
The Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) converts a digital value written to the Data (DACn.DATA) register to an analog voltage. The conversion range is between GND and the selected reference voltage in the Voltage Reference (VREF) peripheral.
The DAC features an 8-bit resistor-string type DAC, capable of converting 350,000 samples per second (350 ksps). The DAC uses the internal Voltage Reference (VREF) as the upper limit for conversion and has one continuous-time output with high drive capabilities, which can drive a 5 kΩ and/or 30 pF load. The DAC conversion can be started from the application by writing to the Data (DACn.DATA) register.
