Introduction
PDS-204GCO/AC™ is a next-generation outdoor Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch for smart cities. It allows Wi-Fi® access points, security network cameras, and many other IoT devices to receive power and data over standard Ethernet cables, leaving network infrastructure completely unaltered.
This user guide describes the initial configuration of the PDS-204GCO/AC network switch covering multiple ordering options:
- Static IP: 192.168.0.50/24 is the static IP address for the new units
- DHCP: If the new unit using DHCPv4 is unable to receive the DHCPv4 address from the DHCP server in three minutes, it will revert to 192.168.0.150/24
