Introduction

Microchip’s SmartFusion evaluation kit provides designers access to SmartFusion Customizable System-On-Chip (cSoC) Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). These are the only devices that integrate an FPGA, an ARM^® Cortex^®-M3 microcontroller, and a programmable analog, offering full customization, Internet Protocol (IP) protection, and ease-of-use.

The device has on-chip Flash, on-chip SRAM memory, and also additional Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) Flash memory on the board.
