The Curiosity Nano Explorer Board provides many resources to quickly begin prototyping an application:

mikroBUS™ socket
I²C bus with eight clients
SPI bus with three clients
UART connection
LEDs and push-button switches to interface with GPIO pins
cNano socket to interface with any MCU that supports a Curiosity Nano board
