1.2 Board Features

  • Supports Both Bus-Powered and Self-Powered Operation

  • Supports Selectable Target Voltage (VTG):

    • 5V from the USB bus or mikroBUS™

    • 3.3V using the on-board 3.3V regulator or from mikroBUS

    • VTG can be connected directly to any 5V or 3.3V supply

  • Automatically Manages the 3.3V Supply to the VUSB Pin Based on the Selected Target Voltage (VTG):

    • When VTG is set to 3V3, the on-board regulator supplies 3.3V to the VUSB pin

    • When VTG is set to 5V0, the MCP2222 internal regulator supplies 3.3V to VUSB pin

  • Provides mikroBUS Connectors (J103 and J104) for use With Compatible Base Boards

  • Provides Additional Connectors, J101 and J102, for Access to UART, I²C, SPI, and IO Pins

  • Provides a USB Type-C® Connector (J105) for Connection to a USB Host

  • Includes Two LEDs:

    • Power LED

    • User LED connected to IO2
