Open a serial console
application (Tera Term) with the associated COM port of the RNBD451 module with the
following settings.
Mobile Side
Follow the same steps
mentioned in 7.2.1 Transparent UART Connection steps 3 to 10 to establish the Bluetooth Low
Energy UART connection with the RNBD451 module.
Tap Text mode to initiate
the data transfer.
Enter the text to be transferred
from mobile to the RNBD451 module, then
tap SEND. For example, Hello World!. The RNBD451 module side receives the data,
which is displayed on the serial terminal of the RNBD451 module.
Type any data on the serial
terminal of the RNBD451 module to send
it to the Microchip Bluetooth Data application, which is received and printed on
the receive view of the Microchip Bluetooth Data application.
