Introduction
This document describes a comprehensive solution for the remote control and automation of D4i™ gears through LTE communication. Utilizing a PIC32CX SG61 Curiosity Ultra Evaluation Board connected with a (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) DALI™2 MikroE™ module, this system facilitates the intelligent management of lighting systems. The incorporation of a Microwave module enables responsive movement detection, enhancing energy efficiency by adjusting lighting based on occupancy. An Ambient Light module is employed to assess light conditions, ensuring optimal illumination by considering natural light availability. Communication with the MQTT Server is done through the LTE MikroE Module, which establishes a robust link between the D4i device and a remote server. This setup allows for the seamless reception and transmission of commands, enabling users to control lighting fixtures remotely with precision and reliability. This document details the design, implementation, and operation of this innovative solution, demonstrating its potential to enhance lighting control in smart buildings and urban infrastructure.
