3 Hardware Connections

The following figure illustrates the reference schematic for connecting the RN4678 module. The RN4677 module (with integral antenna and shield) hardware configuration is fully compatible with the RN4678 hardware configuration.

For the RN4677 module unshielded module (no shield and RF circuitry and antenna), migrating to the RN4678 module needs a redesign in terms of the RF components and antenna. For more details, refer to the RN4678 Bluetooth® Dual Mode Module Command Reference User’s Guide (DS50002506).
