4.9 I2C - Inter-Integrated Circuit

The MCC Melody I2C Driver (Peripheral Library) generates API to support I2C-specific peripheral functionality on AVR target MCUs. In addition a portable API interface supports generic I2C Host and Client interfaces supporting the MCC Melody Component concepts both Configuration and Firmware portability.
