2.1.1 Voltage Monitors
The voltage monitors use resistor dividers to reduce the sense voltage down
to the input range of the ADC.
- The charger supply sensor uses a 15K/10K resistor divider to drop the 9V down to 3.6V.
- The battery sensor uses a 12K/10K resistor divider to drop the 6.4V-8.4V to 2.9V-3.8V.
- The output sensor uses a 5.1K/10K resistor divider to drop the 5.0V to 3.31V.
Note: The maximum voltage range for
all resistor dividers is below 4.0V, allowing the use of the fixed voltage
regulator’s 4.096V output as a reference for the ADC.
