59.4.8.1.1 Encrypted Tweak Generation

In the case of a new encryption/decryption, the Tweak Value (i) must be first encrypted with KEY2 as follows:

  1. Set AES_MR.OPMODE to ECB and AES_MR.CIPHER to ‘1’.
  2. Write KEY2.
  3. Fill AES_IDATARx.IDATA with the Tweak value (i) according to the SMOD configuration used. If Manual mode or Auto mode is used, the DATRDY bit indicates when the data have been processed and can be read in AES_ODATARx.
  4. The data read can be written in AES_TWRx for further data processing.
