7.2.4 Run the sam_gen_keypayload.py Script

The sam_gen_keypayload.py script takes the cust_RSA.yaml file as input and creates an encrypted and signed output file that will eventually be loaded into the SAM9X7 Series MPU in a separate step.

$ sam_gen_keypayload.py -d sam9x70_public_key.pem -c cust_RSA.yaml -o customer-key.cip

This will generate an encrypted and signed customer key, as well as an encrypted and signed Root CA Public Key Hash, in a single file named customer-key_rsa_sam9x70.cip.

Rename customer-key_rsa_sam9x70.cip to customer-key.cip.
