7.3.9.12 SSC Direct Access Mode Register
The receiver does not provide the capability to select the channels that will be transferred on the direct link to the Asynchronous Sample Rate Converter (ASRC). The selection is possible in the ASRC.
When the SSC receiver is configured in Device mode (SSC_RCMR.CKO=0), the SSC_RFMR.DATNB field must be configured with the number of data in the received frame. When the SSC transmitter is configured in Device mode (SSC_TCMR.CKO=0), the SSC_TFMR.DATNB field must be configured with the number of data in the transmitted frame.

Bit 1 – DARXEN Direct Access Receive Enable

| 0 | SSC_RHFR must be read by software or DMA to get the audio samples. |
| 1 | The ASRC can be directly loaded with the audio samples from the SSC physical output line without software or DMA intervention. |
Bit 0 – DATXEN Direct Access Transmit Enable

| 0 | SSC_THFR must be loaded by software or DMA to transfer the audio samples on the SSC physical output line. |
