4 Running U-HSM Server as a Service

This section describes how to run U-HSM as a service.

The U-HSM server can be set up to run as a Windows service. This mode allows a non-administrator user to operate the server once service configuration is done under the administrator account.

In service mode, all interactions with the U-HSM server are done through the U-HSM control panel application.
