1.1 MPLAB® Harmony WINCS02 WLAN Library

The MPLAB Harmony WINCS02 Driver provides a high-level interface to the WINCS02 Wi-Fi network controller module. The WINCS02 Driver, in conjunction with the WINCS02 module, allows an application to:

• Scan for other Wi-Fi devices in the area
• Join an existing 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Infrastructure network
• Create an 802.11 Wi-Fi Ad Hoc or Soft AP network
• Use TCP/IP sockets to send and receive data over the Wi-Fi network using IPv4 or IPv6
• Make use of TLS v1.2 to ensure data privacy, confidentiality and integrity
• Use MQTT v3 and v5 protocols
