The Signal Routing Port module is a versatile feature allowing multiple peripherals to connect internally without external I/O pins. Due to the variety of input selection and PPS interface, the Signal Routing Port module is suitable to operate in a variety of user applications. The presence of an internal flip-flop as a holding register adds extra flexibility that allows the Signal Routing Port to be used in synchronous applications, such as hardware state machines. In addition, the Signal Routing Port module also supports interrupts and DMA/ADC triggers to include an even wider variety of applications.
