2.1 Design Considerations for Operating Power Supply

The user can connect VDDIO directly to VDD by shorting pin 23 with pin 20 of the WINCS02 Module as both operate within the same voltage range (3.0-3.6V).

The user can also use separate supplies to VDDIO (pin 23) and VDD (pin 20) of the WINCS02 Module as per the recommended operating range (3.0-3.6V).

A suitable DC-DC converter can be used based on the user’s design requirements if the VDDIO and VBATT of the ATWINC15x0 Module are not operating within the recommended WINCS02 Module voltage range (3.0-3.6V).
