41.5.4 Events

The TRNG can generate the following output event:

• TRNG Data Ready (TRNG_READY): Generated when a new 32-bit random number is available in the Output Data register (DATA <31:0>).

Writing '1' to the TRNG Data Ready Event Output bit in the Event Control Register (EVCTRL.DATARDYEO bit (EVCTRL <0>)) enables the TRNG_READY event. Writing a '0' to this bit disables the corresponding output event. The TRNG cannot use any events from other peripherals, as it is not an Event User.
