6 Conclusion

This application note describes a method of flux angle and speed estimation for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors. It also describes the equation-based closed loop flux weakening. The main theoretical ideas behind the estimator, equation-based closed loop flux weakening, and the tuning directions are also discussed.
