5.1 General Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) on MVIO Pins

One of the most basic uses of the MVIO module is the ability for a subset of pins to have GPIO functionality on an alternative voltage domain independent of V_DD, meaning that although the device may operate primarily at one voltage supplied through the V_DD pin, a subset of MVIO pins can operate entirely based on the independent voltage supplied to the V_DDIOx pin(s), including the ability for the MVIO pins to function as inputs and outputs with logic based on the scaled V_IL/V_IH and V_OL/V_OH voltage levels which is determined by the voltage supplied to the respective V_DDIOx pins.
