1.1 Getting Started

Read this section before connecting the Atmel AVRISP mkII to the computer or target.

Follow these steps to get started using the AVRISP mkII:

Install Atmel Studio and the USB driver.
Connect AVRISP mkII to the computer, and auto-install new hardware (AVRISP mkII) on the computer.
Start Atmel Studio and the AVRISP mkII Programming Dialog.
Connect AVRISP mkII to the target.
