10 Fixed-Point Arithmetic Support

The MPLAB® XC-DSC C/C++ Compiler for dsPIC33C/E/F and dsPIC30 DSC supports fixed-point arithmetic according to the N1169 draft of ISO/IEC TR 18037. The ISO C99 technical report on Embedded C, can be accessed using the following link:

The compiler also supports ISO/IEC TR 18037:2008(en), Annex F: C++ Compatibility and Migration Issues, F1:Fixed-point arithmetic, unless otherwise noted.
