ParameterOperating Range
Input DC Voltage11-15V
Absolute Maximum Input DC Voltage19.8V
Maximum Input Current through Connectors VDC and GND15A
Continuous Output Current per Phase @ 25° C10A (RMS)
Note:
  1. At +25°C ambient, this board can safely deliver up to 10A RMS of continuous output current per phase without overheating, as it is designed to operate without a heat sink. Thermal limits are defined by the MOSFETs, shunt resistors and PCB copper area under natural convection. Operating within the specified input voltage and current ranges ensures reliable performance and prevents thermal overstress.
  2. Spinning the motor under certain conditions (loss of control during field weakening or restarting the motor with inertia load while coasting down or direction reversal when the motor is spinning at a higher speed) may cause the DC Bus voltage to rise beyond the applied input DC voltage (if the DC power supply is non-receptive). Under such conditions, ensure that the input DC voltage does not exceed the specified limit. Exceeding this Input DC voltage limit will cause permanent damage to the board.
