7.6.3.2 Write Config Zone
The maximum number of bytes that may be written is as follows:
- $10 for AT88SC0104C through AT88SC1616C (EEPROM page size of 16 bytes)
- $40 for AT88SC3216C and AT88SC6416C (EEPROM page size of 64 bytes)
- $80 for AT88SC12816C and AT88SC25616C (EEPROM page size of 128 bytes)
In Anti-Tearing mode, the maximum value for N is $08 for all devices. A write may be started in the middle of an EEPROM page but must not extend past the end of the page. If the address provided is an unauthorized address, the device will not write the requested data. Since access rights vary throughout the configuration memory, the host may provide an authorized starting address but specify a number of bytes that causes the device to reach unauthorized data. In this case, the device will prevent the internal write cycle, and no bytes will be written in the EEPROM. After this command, the host must perform ACK polling.
