2.1.1 Mismatched Length

USB is a differential signaling protocol. To ensure that the positive and negative signals arrive simultaneously, the signal pair(s) must be length-matched to ensure data arrives simultaneously. If there is too much mismatch, the transceiver may see the wrong value on one of the signals, causing communication errors.
