1.1.1 Universal Bus Packet Capture (USBPcap) and Wireshark

Wireshark is a free network protocol analyzer usually used with networking connections. One of the add-ins to Wireshark is USBPcap – an open-source driver plug-in that can capture USB packet data. USBPcap is an optional component that can be installed with Wireshark.

USBPcap is helpful in analyzing the raw USB traffic between the microcontroller and the host. It is included in the Wireshark installer.
