31.4.2.2.1 Host Clock Generation

The SERCOM peripheral supports several I²C bidirectional modes:

Standard-mode (Sm), with a bit rate up to 100 kbit/s
Fast-mode (Fm), with a bit rate up to 400 kbit/s
Fast-mode Plus (Fm+), with a bit rate up to 1 Mbit/s

The Host clock configuration for Sm, Fm, and Fm+ are described in Clock Generation (Standard-Mode, Fast-Mode, and Fast-Mode Plus).
