4.2.2 Connect the Motor to the Board

Attach the three-phase wires from the motor to the PHA, PHB and PHC terminals of connector J4 on the MCLV-48V-300W Inverter Board. The convention typically used is shown in Table 4-1.

While this convention is commonly followed, it is crucial to consult the motor's data sheet to confirm the correct wiring for your specific motor (For the motor in this guide, see Hurst Data Sheet). Proper wiring ensures optimal performance and prevents potential issues during operation.

Note: Make sure the motor does not have any load initially or an evenly loading disc.
