2.2 Module-Level External Component Selection Guidelines

The input, output, and feed‑forward capacitor networks in this reference design are selected on a per‑module basis in accordance with the recommendations provided in the MCPF1525M06 datasheet.

In this 50A reference design, the external capacitor networks are implemented individually for each module and then combined at the common input and output rails. The final input and output capacitance values may be optimized or fine‑tuned to meet specific application requirements—such as output voltage ripple, transient performance, load profile, and layout constraints—while remaining compliant with the MCPF1525M06 datasheet guidelines.
