2 Data Logging

Obtaining clear data is helpful for review. Even if the issue is not well understood, there are common logs that are always useful to have available.

Note: If submitting a support case through Microchip’s support portal, include these logs in the support case attachments.

Collect the following information during the debug process. This information will be critical in diagnosing and debugging any issue. If you are filing a support case through Microchip Support, gather the following information in advance. This preparation will help speed up the response time, as the Microchip engineer will likely request all of these items during the initial correspondence.

Layout of KSZ8081MNX and all portions of the layout which the KSZ8081MNX signals route to.	Native design program files are most useful. Native Gerber files are also useful but less preferred. Images and ‘.pdf’ files of Gerbers are difficult to review and not desirable.	n/a
