2 High-level Application Design

The main project includes a combination of two layers: software and hardware. The software layer is further divided into two other parts:
  • The MPLAB® Code Configurator (MCC) generated code
  • The main application program

Figure 2-2 shows the setup that features the ultrasonic range detector prototype implemented on the PROTO Click board. This PROTO Click is used in the first slot of mikroBUS™ place to overlap with the set pins:
