18.2.2 Start Event 2 (S2)

The value in the Secondary Start (APMSTART2) register determines the number of counts of the internal 24-bit offset counter before the Start 2 Event occurs. The APMSTART2 register differs from APMSTART1 in that the value written to APMSTART2 is compared against the 24-bit offset counter instead of the 16-bit APM period with prescaler counter.

Once the value of the APMSTART2 register matches the 24-bit offset counter, the peripherals selected using the APMPERS2 (S2) register will be activated. This means that analog peripherals selected using APMPERS2 (S2) will always activate, or wake from Sleep, after the peripherals selected using APMPERS1 (S1) have been activated.
