5.1 Component Tuning for Efficiency and Cost

The 100W and 400W variants of this design are intended to be starting points for commonly available solar panels tuned for those maximum power points. The chosen solar panel may include a wide range of possible parameters, including Voc, Vmpp and Impp. Tuning of the synchronous buck topology components will likely be needed to maximize efficiency and reduce system BOM cost.
