25.4.3 CLB Software Outputs

The CLB module BLE outputs are available as software readable outputs (registers). Only 16 of the 128 BLEs are available to the user using two 8-bit registers (CLBSWOUTH and CLBSWOUTL) and are selected via the Microchip CLB Synthesizer.

The CLBSWOUTH/L registers are hardware synchronized to the System Clock and are updated continuously on Q2 and Q4 clocks (see Figure 25-10). If output edge detection is used, the selected edge event will set the respective CLBSWOUTH/L bit, which will remain set until cleared by user software.
