6 Limitations

MPLAB X Simulator attempts to simulate the operation of an actual device. However, there are limits to simulation, and these are listed here.

Simulator limitations are broken down as follows:

  • General Limitations - Limitations that apply to all devices
  • Device-Specific Limitations - Limitations that apply to only specific devices
  • No Peripheral Support Limitations - Limitations that apply only to devices with no peripheral support
