2 Getting Started with the Simulator

If you are new to the MPLAB X Simulator, you should begin with the tutorial in MPLAB X IDE documentation. The tutorial will demonstrate how to create a use projects and select the simulator as your debug tool.

Once you are familiar with working with projects under MPLAB X IDE, the following topics will help you work with simulator-specific features.
