4 Application Design
The initial consideration in application design is to determine the type of application. The
three main types of applications are:
- Unidirectional receiver application
- Unidirectional transmitter application
- Bidirectional application
This section details each application type, such as:
- Number of selected antennas for each approach
- Usage of a SPDT is discussed for each approach
