4.1 Unidirectional Receiver Application
A receiver application that operates in several frequency bands can be realized in multiple ways.
The following are the applicable scenarios:
- Low band and high band with two antennas
- Low band and high band with one antenna
- Same frequency band with two antennas
- Same frequency band with one antenna
From an application and performance standpoint, the recommendation is the first approach, as it allows optimal matching and minimizes system losses. If a two-antenna approach is not feasible, the recommendation is to use the built-in SPDT switch to achieve suitable isolation and optimized performance.
