2.2.2.1 Description

The metrology library captures and processes the raw data from the metering analog front end, computes the metrology parameters and manages the pulse outputs.

The metrology library is provided by Microchip as a binary file, which runs in the Core 1 of the microcontroller. The interaction with the library is done through several register banks, mainly used to:

• Configure the metrology library
• Calibrate the metering system
• Access the metrology quantities computed by the library
• Check status information

The library is highly optimized and uses advanced digital processing techniques to produce extremely accurate results.
