1.2 MPLAB® X Integrated Development Environment and MPLAB XC32 Compilers

The MPLAB X Integrated Development Environment (IDE) is an expandable, highly configurable software program that incorporates powerful tools to discover, configure, develop, debug, and qualify embedded designs for most of Microchip’s microcontrollers.

• The MPLAB X IDE is available on the Microchip Website. This document describes the MPLAB X IDE version 6.25 or above.
• The MPLAB XC32 Compilers are available on the Microchip Website. This document describes MPLAB XC32 version 4.60 or above.
